Through National Building Specifications (NBS) Services, subscribing specifies can access independent, on-line help in generating specifications on screen for all parts of a construction, including raised access floors.
NBS K41 specification for raised access floors, brings together product performance and installation standards for the United Kingdom. Through Kingspan Access Floors’ involvement with the NBS scheme, specifiers have access to full technical data and model clauses which can be integrated, in a step-by-step process, into the specification for a particular project.

AFA (Access Flooring Association)

The company is a founder member and driving force in the industry trade body – the Access Flooring Association (AFA).
The AFA represents the UK’s access floor producers and installers, promoting the access floor concept and, through
technical representation on national (BSI) and European standards committees, works to establish and maintain high
standards of manufacture and installation.
The AFA provides impartial information and guidance on products, manufacturers, and statistics within the access
flooring industry, through its independent secretariat at the British Electrical and Allied Manufacturers Association
(BEAMA).
